Small Wonder Gallery: featuring the art of Carol Sebold, Edward Gordon, Carol Collette, Alan Magee and other local and national artists

Eveline Gugelmann-Henner is a graduate of the renowned College of Art and Design in her native Basel, Switzerland. At the outset of her career, she won a first prize award in a public open air competition among a large international entry of established artists, and also earned accolades for her unique style.

The stylistic base for her art was decisively established during her twenties; her work has been presented in over thirty solo and group exhibitions in Europe and in the United States. She was also the subject of a show on PBS Public Television. Besides a large number of paintings sold the world over, her oeuvre of over four hundred paintings is being spread in the form of prints, art cards and artistic wine labels.

Since 1993, Maine's picturesque coastal scenery with its special light characteristics conveying lucidity and transparency to color is inspiring her work. The artist lives and works in a hillside home in Rockport, Maine, with a Studio Gallery overlooking Penobscot Bay.
